So, Michael had a great Lehi Round Up Week--Jer, the twins and I did not participate in nearly as many of the activities as he did. Here is a recap of the fun times that were had last week:
Monday--Jeremy and Michael went to the Family Picnic in the Park and enjoyed Lehi's Got Talent along with Jer's family. Afterwards, Uncle Calvin took Michael and the other cousins over to Vets Ballpark to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. He did not get home until midnight.
Thursday--Michael, the twins and I joined Jeremy's family to watch the All Horse Parade. It was so hot! I think it lightly sprinkled last year which was nice. Jer had to work until 10 so he missed out. Michael loved the decorated horses (stars, moons, a pink one, handprints, etc.) and the knight that was riding one of the horses.
Friday--Michael and Jeremy went to the rodeo. They didn't go until halftime but caught the motorcycle show and the bull riding (the best parts). Amazingly, they walked in the door at 10:30. Jer's secret? He hoisted Michael on his shoulders and they ran all the way back to their car (which was parked at the church on 7th S and 5th W--Meadow Elem. is under construction so their lot was not available this year--I'm sure for the time it took them to back track and find a spot, they could have walked from our house!).
Saturday--Michael went with his cousins and grandparents to the Grand Parade. Afterwards they went to the festivities at Wines Park. He got to jump on inflatables and ride on a horse. He had so much fun.
All in all, it was a good week.
