Thanksgiving

(this was the view from our hotel room at Daniels Summit Lodge)

For Thanksgiving, we went to Daniels Summit with Jeremy's family. It is about an hour away up past Heber near Strawberry on US 40. We got there for the holidays every 4-5 years. On Wednesday I took the day off work so Jeremy could work during the day. We got up there about 6:30 p.m. and had dinner at the restaurant. We shared a room with Jeremy's brother Calvin and our nephew Easton.

After dinner, everyone but the twins and I went swimming. It was so cold up there--it got down to -9 at night. Brrr! We borrowed a playpen for the twins to sleep in. The next morning we had a light breakfast in Jeremy's parents' room. It was really nice that we were able to stay in our room until 1 p.m. the time we were scheduled for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was good and the portable booster seats worked great.

The twins content after dinner (they ate potatoes, rolls, crackers, sweet potatoes and split a jar of turkey dinner baby food) all bundled up and ready for the drive home.

We went and saw Tangled that evening--it was so good. The only bummer of the night is that we were sitting in the middle of the row and Michael got up TWICE during the movie to go to the bathroom. On our way back to our seats the second time we knocked over a drink. To top it all off, Kimberlee lost our only pacifier and wouldn't sleep.
