On Saturday morning, we received a knock at the door. When Michael and Uncle Carl answered it, they found a waffle maker and a big red bag that said "Special Delivery from the North Pole". Luckily we looked inside the bag rather than just putting it under the tree because it turns out Macy the Christmas elf included stuff to make a full breakfast--waffle mix, milk, orange juice, eggs, bacon, syrup, blueberry syrup, yogurt (for the babies), blueberries and raspberries.
It was a nice surprise and kind of funny because that was one of the things we wanted for Christmas last year but we got a three in one that has a grill and sandwich maker in addition to plates to make waffles so we were content.
This seemed like something Jeremy's mom would do but the handwriting looked familiar...thanks Macy the Christmas elf (aka Aunt Kiersten)!
