or at least it feels like it to the twins (dogs, too) when we put the baby gate up. I often gate them downstairs so I can get stuff done around the house. Dad on the other hand, rarely puts the gate up because he gets tired of the dogs whining because they are stuck and the babies hanging on the gate and crying when he leaves the room.
