My Aunt Shirley passed away this June. The last time we saw her was in October 2009 when we went to Iowa on vacation (when this picture was taken). We were able to drive out for the funeral. Jeremy and Carl were pallbearers. The twins did pretty good with all of the time on the road--we did the trip in two days each way staying at a hotel along the way. It was bittersweet to see all of my relatives again. Her funeral was at Kale Funeral Home and internment was at the Van Wert cemetery where she was laid to rest next to my Uncle Elmer. My Uncle Ron is the only one of his siblings left and both of his parents (my grandparents) have also passed. We spent the rest of the day visiting my cousin Cindy and her husband Dennis who were kind enough to let all six of us stay with them. We were also able to visit with my first cousin Terri and her 4 girls. Michael enjoyed playing with her daughters.
