Temple Square Lights

The day before Frontrunner (the new train running from Lehi to Salt Lake) opened, we decided to join Jeremy's family--mom, brothers, sister and her family--to go see the lights at Temple Square. Downtown Salt Lake was packed that night and we drove up so it was crazy (and expensive) trying to find a place to park.

Temple Square was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking with all of the holiday lights and Christmas displays as always but a lot more crowded than in year's past. There were so many people we just followed the herd and had to keep moving. We were able to catch the last part of the Nativity recording but it was too busy to take the kids to see the Christ statute at the visitors center. They enjoyed looking at the lights, shepherds and pictures of Jesus everywhere though. Everyone was dressed really warm so no problems there.

Kaden was off with his uncles when we got this cute brother-sister picture.

Proof that Jennie was there--it was really cold so we kept her bundled up in the stroller.

The family (minus Jennie)--too bad Michael had his eyes closed!
