City Easter Egg Hunts

We went to 2 city Easter egg hunts this year--Lehi on Friday night and Spanish Fork on Saturday. The Lehi one was a little disorganized and had a much bigger turn out than they expected. Basically it was a walk down Main Street to get eggs and candy from local businesses and then an egg drop for a different age group each 15 minutes. Each kid came home with one egg from the drop thanks to Michael's help.

Then on Saturday we went to the Easter egg hunt in Spanish Fork with Grandma and the cousins. It was at their sports park and was extremely organized with fields and volunteers to police each age group. Each kid was guaranteed to get 4 eggs and a Chuck a Rama coupon. Michael really lucked out and won a bike (luckily we had room to put it in the trunk of the minivan). After the egg hunt we went to Kneader's in Spanish Fork. We split 2 french toasts and 2 breakfast sandwiches among the 6 of us with plenty to spare. The only eventful thing that happened was Jennie spilling a whole glass of orange juice. After the hunt we drove back to Lehi and watched Michael play his soccer game. All in all it was a fun day.
