Warning for all Dads

So, back when I had to do "rooming in" at the hospital with Kimberlee before they'd let me take her home on oxygen and the sleep apnea monitor, Jeremy had an interesting night home with the boys.

I was dutiful and pumped plenty of milk for Kaden while I was gone. Since breast milk tends to lose its nutrients in the microwave, Jeremy decided to boil water to warm the bottle. Well, he was on the phone and forgot about the bottle. Time passed and all of a sudden, all of the smoke detectors went off in the house--he came downstairs to find that all of the water had evaporated, the bottle melted to the bottom of the pan and the house was filled with the horrible smell of melted plastic. My poor Pampered Chef sauce pan!

This, my friends, is what it looked like:

The bottle used to say baby:)Luckily, he was able to use his Shark Steamer to clean the pan.

So, needless to say, he now uses the microwave and remember dads--never leave anything on the stove unattended!
