The first week he attended was Pack Meeting which was also the night of the Pinewood Derby. He was a little nervous about the initiation as he had heard he'd be branded. Afterwards he decided it wasn't so bad and proclaimed he never wanted me to wash his scout shirt ever again.
He did pretty good for his first Pinewood Derby. They made a bat mobile and he placed fourth overall. He is really excited and with him being home this summer with dad during the day they hope to get him well on his way to earning his bobcat and wolf among other badges.
