Michael's Baptism

It is hard to believe our oldest is now eight. He decided that rather than being baptized in our stake that he wanted to wait a week and be baptized in the same stake center where his dad was baptized on the same day as two of his cousins (Jocelyn and her cousin Katie).

I made this cute little baptism invitation for him on Pic Monkey. We didn't really send it out as he only wanted family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) plus our babysitter Kimberly to come.

The following we wrote up for our ward congregation's newsletter:

We are proud of Michael for deciding to get baptized. He is excited to get baptized the same day as two of his cousins in the stake center where his dad was also baptized. Everyone who knows him says he is kind, funny, a good friend and mature for his age. He loves his little brother and sisters and is a big helper. He likes soccer, football, video games and anything Lego or Minecraft. His favorite scripture stories are Noah's ark and the story of Ammon. When he is old enough to be a full-time missionary he wants to serve in Rome or England (where his dad served). Michael is also looking forward to joining Cub Scouts.
