We decided to buy an annual membership to Thanksgiving Point due to the opening of the new Museum of Natural Curiosity. The kids got to go twice in the first 3 days the museum was open. We finally found a time that I could go with them--we picked an early Friday afternoon since I am working four tens during the summer. They were excited to give mom a tour.
The first thing they wanted to show me was the scale that shows their weight and then your weight in animals...
| Yep, Kaden is 10 lbs. lighter than his twin sister. Crazy! I know, right?!? |
| The infamous rock wall on the Thanksgiving Point commercials. |
| The exercise bike that showed how long you have to bike to burn off a glass of milk or a piece of pizza. |
The kids also enjoyed the theater where they could dress up and perform.
| Kaden loved the train cars. |
| Taking a break |
| Enjoying a nice swing on the outdoor playground. |
| The master builder using a medium other than Lego for a change! |
They also go to make something out of clay and fire it in the kiln.
The kids had a blast and tell me they want to go to the museum every day. While we could theoretically with our annual pass I suggested once a week or a couple times a month (as well as rotating with the dinosaur museum, farm country and gardens) might be more reasonable.
